About the Course

CMA Intermediate is the second level of the CMA course, designed to build technical skills in Cost Accounting, Taxation, Company Law, and Financial Management. It bridges the gap between foundational knowledge and the advanced strategic concepts of the Final level.

Subjects of Study

CMA Intermediate consists of two groups, each with four papers:

Group I:

  1. Business Laws & Ethics
  2. Financial Accounting
  3. Direct and Indirect Taxes
  4. Cost Accounting

Group II:

  1. Operations Management & Strategic Management
  2. Corporate Accounting and Auditing
  3. Financial Management and Data Analysis
  4. Management Accounting

Eligibility

  • Candidates must have passed the CMA Foundation examination.
  • Eligible graduates can also enter through the Direct Entry Route.

Registration Fees

  • ₹23,100 for both groups
  • ₹12,000 for a single group
  • (Payable directly to ICMAI)

Registration Cutoff

Four months prior to the month of the June or December examinations.

Coaching Duration

Typically 8 months, including regular classes, mock tests, and full syllabus coverage.
